Class Act School of Acting

Class Act School of Acting offers high-quality, accessible training for anyone in Chepstow and the surrounding areas wanting to grow their performance skills.

Most sessions are taught by our principal tutor Louise Best, who provides a supportive, structured approach tailored to each student. Our Young Actors Group Acting sessions are delivered by our tutors Ryan Gluyas and Emily Thomas-Williamson.

We welcome complete beginners, developing performers and those preparing for exams or auditions.

As part of Class Act School of Acting, you will get the opportunity to take part in LAMDA Accredited exams, though this is optional.

  • Young Actors Group Acting Classes

    Our Young Actors Group is the perfect place for aspiring performers to build confidence, spark imagination and express themselves in a fun, supportive environment.

    Led by experienced and qualified actors Ryan Gluyas and Emily Thomas-Williamson, our young actors work with techniques from a wide range of practitioners, developing their abilities through improvisation, physical theatre, stagecraft and character work.

    Whether your child is stepping on stage for the first time or already loves performing, they’ll learn real skills, make new friends and discover their own unique voice.

    Give them the space to shine and see what they can achieve.

    When: Wednesdays, 5-6pm (During Term Time)

    Led by national award-winning director and experienced LAMDA tutor Louise Best, these sessions provide dedicated, individual attention in your chosen discipline.

    Whether you’re preparing for a LAMDA exam, getting ready for an audition, improving for work or simply developing a new talent, Louise creates a warm, supportive environment where you can grow at your own pace.

    Perfect for beginners through to advanced performers, every session is shaped around your goals.

  • Adult Acting Classes

    Our Adult Acting Classes are the perfect way to boost confidence, spark creativity and have fun in a supportive, welcoming space.

    Led by Local, National Award Winning Director and experienced LAMDA Tutor Louise Best, each session blends practical acting techniques, monologue work, voice training and presentation skills.

    As a complete beginner or returning to the stage, you’ll learn real skills while connecting with others who love performing.

LAMDA is available to students from age 7 to adults and there is no upper age limit for adult learners. No experience is necessary.

Public Speaking lessons are available to those who simply wish to brush up their skills or gain confidence in presentation for any speech, whether it be for work, a wedding or dissertations.
